You can find holiday villas usually out in the countryside. Self catering accommodation in cities in towns tends to be in the form of apartments or cottages. Due to the difficulties with taking pets abroad, finding a pet friendly villa is not usually a consideration. For holidays abroad, there are strict rules about taking pets in and out of countries, it is usually best therefore to find someone to take care of your pet whilst you are away or to put your dog in kennels or your cat in a cattery. Although it is sad to leave them behind, just think of the welcome you should get on your return from your travels.
